How to package your delivery
We handle your consignment carefully, but no amount of careful driving protects an unboxed screen. Insurance cover depends on adequate packaging, so five minutes here is worth it.
The basics
Consolidated freight is cheaper because your goods travel alongside everyone else’s, which means shared handling, shared loading, and a route decided by the other consignments on board. For most deliveries that trade-off is fine. For some it is not worth making at any price.
A dedicated vehicle removes every variable except the road. We load at your premises, secure the consignment for the journey, and drive it to the delivery address without stopping to collect or drop anything else.
What we cannot cover
Inadequately packaged goods, items packed in reused boxes with structural damage, and anything where the damage was caused by the packing rather than the transport. If you are not sure your packing will hold, call us before we collect — it is a much cheaper conversation than a claim.

- Sealed, waterproof wallet or envelope. Rigid backing for anything that must not crease.
- Anti-static wrap, original box where possible, double-boxed with cushioning between.
- Individually wrapped, corner protection, marked fragile on all faces, packed to survive a [X]cm drop.
- Sealed and bagged, absorbent material inside the outer box, upright orientation marked.
- UN3373-compliant triple packaging. We can supply.
- Shrink-wrapped, banded, nothing overhanging the edge, weight evenly distributed.
